Announcement - We are are closing
Dear Craft Tribe,
Firstly I would like to thank you with all my heart for following, liking and experiencing The Hideout.
I am sad to announce that we will be closing down The Hideout permanently. As you may know, I first opened my little business to make a difference in my community, meet new people and help others find their creative journey. Whilst I feel I have accomplished this in many ways, I am no longer able to put my heart and soul into The Hideout.
Working full time and running a business has been a huge challenge on my mental health which you all know I am an advocate for and therefore feel having no free time to have creative freedom or time with friends is something I can no longer sacrifice.
Having a business brings out the absolute best and worst in people, so if there’s one thing I have taken and would like to share from this journey is kindness - always be kind to others and support those small businesses out there, they need you!
I am SO grateful for each and every one of you for supporting The Hideout, it has been so enjoyable to spend time with you all and see you blossom into creative experts! I really hope you all manage to keep up your creativity and I’m sure in the future I won’t be able to resist doing a craft night social or something to see you all. I will continue to make handmade items to sell online and at markets so hopefully our paths will cross again.
In the meantime, I will be running workshops until the end of February 2022 with our remaining stock so if there’s any workshops in particular you wanted to do, let me know and I can book a date in the calendar for you. I will be having a mini market at our Hideout from 6pm – 8pm on Friday 3rd December, there will be some crazy deals on as all stock must go so I encourage you to come along for some amazing Christmas presents, even just for a free drink with me to celebrate a new chapter, it would mean so much to see you.
With all my heart – Thank you
Katy & The Hideout
